Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer, who has been active in films theater and television. She started her career acting in the theatre and then went on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed show The Book of Negroes. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her stage credits include the Broadway performance that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is most well-known for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role on television in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
