He was born in Georgia, and grew up in Westminster, South Carolina. He was married to Julie Chrisley, and together they had five children. He got married Teresa Terry for his first marriage. He was the younger brother of Derrick Chrisley, who died as a child. He and Julie his wife are the parents to five children that all appear in the TV show.
